Introductory fairytale (but a true one)
Once upon a time in the Kingdom of Czechoslovakia on the Křižanovský estate, as far back as the year 1990, hard times
for the local people, they once again started to play beneath the castle. There weren't many of them, around a dozen,
but they took up axes, saws, planes and chisels and began to make wooden toys. Yet no-one wanted them, so they
summoned an esteemed French artist to furnish them with fresh ideas. They also took on
a Dutch master merchant, and he knew how to sell the toys. So it went on until the year 1999, when, on a rural farm in
Dobrá Voda (Good Water), the company of Acti Bois CZ s.r.o. was established. And the fact that they continued to play great games is
something you can see for yourself.
